A period of time that I never would have imagined; Closures of departments, redeployment to areas never explored previously. Juggling work life and home schooling! With it came feelings of worry and uncertainty. However, there was also a strange sense of calm with the lockdown. We were some of the privileged few who could continue to work. The quietness of the roads, even deer walking freely upon my route to work in the mornings. Making new friends with new work colleagues and a rare glimpse into how other areas in the hospital work.

Strange times, and we are not at the end yet, but we adapt and evolve, without forgetting all those who have not made this journey.
