I signed up for temporary work in 2020 to help during the pandemic. When my contract ended I was offered a permanent position as a Housekeeper.

I worked on a very busy COVID ward, which was a real eye-opener into how much the virus had taken over everybody's lives.

It was truly heartbreaking.

I knew at this point I wanted to do more for the patients so I signed up and trained to become a Health Care Support Worker. I love my job, it is extremely rewarding. I work with a fantastic team, we look out for each other.

I am very proud of the work I do.
