The day the country went into lockdown was also the day my wonderful mum was diagnosed with terminal cancer. She died six weeks later. Trying to adjust to working during the pandemic has been difficult for all of of us. Caring for, and then grieving for my mum has made the past two years incredibly tough. Along the way I have met some truly incredible people who are a credit to the NHS and I hope that we can slowly return to a normal way of life. Whatever that is. I’m planting this tree for my mum as a place to sit and remember her.
